Our Partnership with the Columbus Chamber

In August 2008, Cofer Consulting Solutions, LLC entered into a partnership with the Columbus Chamber to provide intern related consultative services to employers in the Columbus Region. The purpose, grow the number of new internships being offered by employers in the region resulting in a positive impact to the local economy and stronger retention of young talent. Services offered by Cofer Consulting Solutions include:

  • Identifying and/or addressing “barriers to entry” related to the use of Millennial talent within your organization.
• Integrating the use of interns and Millennial talent into your existing talent management strategy.
• Crafting new and/or restructuring existing internship position descriptions to promote opportunities within your organization.
• Devising a recruitment and selection strategy.
• Registering and publishing your opportunities to ColumbusInternships.com and other applicable online job posting sites.
• Identifying targeted colleges and universities to engage in on-campus recruiting activity.
• Identifying and/or structuring meaningful assignments and project opportunities that interns could pursue.
• Determining appropriate levels of compensation.
• “Closing the deal” related to achieving desired levels of offer acceptance.
